Hawksnest Ski and Golf Resort, North Carolina Hot

Hawksnest North CarolinaThe Appalachian Mountain town of Seven Devils, NC, boasts a wide variety of entertainment and outdoor recreation options via Hawsknest Golf and Ski Resort.

Skiing opportunities are modest at Hawksnest, with weekend only operations and a limited number of runs. However, those looking for a quick breeze down the mountain can get their fill, and with very little congestion along with affordable prices, Hawksnest gets the job done. The resort is also considered one of the more snowboard friendly slopes in North Carolina, providing a snowboard park that is maintained in part by the ASU Snowboarding Club.

Despite limited skiing options, Hawksnest offers the largest Snow Tubing Park on the East Coast. The 20 Lane Snow Tubing Park has four different areas to snow tube, containing lanes 400 – 1000 feet long. Tubing is offered everyday of the week, while 100% snowmaking and lighting make sure the park is in top condition at all times.

Other attractions offered at Hawksnest include the new Zip line Tour, featuring ten cables, two of which are known in the zip line industry as super or mega zips. There are ten restaurants and plenty of lodging options within a short distance of Hawksnest as well.

In previous years golf was offered at the 18-hole, 6,244-yard Hawksnest Course located at the resort, however, financial issues forced ownership to cease operations.
