Colorado_Ski_Country_FlightsNew flights are being offered to Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) for this upcoming ski season. A variety of airlines are extending their flight offerings during the winter season to offer more options and easier access to travelers who are heading to Colorado’s ski resorts.

Denver International Airport (DIA) announced that Iceland Air will be offering year-round, nonstop service to Denver beginning in May 2012. DIA is one of the busiest airports in the world and offers quick and easy transport to seven Colorado Ski Country resorts. At DIA, vacationers can also connect to a variety of Colorado’s regional resort community airports.

There are also a variety of new travel options open to those heading to Aspen/Snowmass. American Airlines has announced new daily non-stop flights from Dallas/Forth Worth and Los Angeles for the winter season starting on December 15, 2011.

United Airlines has also added another non-stop flight from Houston, a fourth daily non-stop flight from Los Angeles, and a 12th daily flight from Denver on peak days. This will bring United’s daily flights in and out of Aspen/Snowmass up to 24 daily flights during the winter. Frontier will also offer 30 daily flights in and out of Aspen/Snowmass on three airlines.

In some cases, additional flight options can allow guests to fly directly from their original city to their destination resort. Gunnison/Crest Butte Regional Airport offers direct flights from Denver, Dallas, and Houston, as well as shuttles to transport guests straight to resorts in the area.

Wherever your destination in Colorado Ski Country, these new nonstop flights and travel options will help you reach your resort location with speed and ease this winter ski season.
