Three resorts are now open in Colorado Ski Country. The 2011-2012 ski season was kicked off with the opening of Arapahoe Basin on October 13, followed by Loveland Ski Area on October 14, and Wolf Creek opening for its second weekend of skiing and riding on the 15th.

Wolf Creek Ski Area in Pagosa Springs, Colorado will open this weekend.  Snowstorms during the last several days covered the slopes with three feet of snow on the ground, this weekend promises to be a great start to another great season.
