Homecoming: Lindsey Vonn Returns to Vail

Lindsey Vonn is coming back to Vail, Colorado, for a homecoming celebration on Sunday, April 1, at 3pm. Vail Mountain, the largest ski resort in the United States, announced that they will be commemorating the record-setting season of their home-town Olympic and World Alpine ski champion.

The new Sultan Skis, as Branner explains, are "like regular snowboards, but half as wide, and you put one on each foot!" So the Sultan Skis are crazy, that's for sure, but maybe it's not so crazy that a snowboard company like Venture is the one creating them. Who else would try to create a hybrid of snowboards and skis?
